Who We Are:

Nick Onken is a photographer, podcast host, and creative entrepreneur devoted to inspiring the world to create their moments and create their life. A former graphic designer hailing from the soggy city of Seattle, now residing in the concrete jungle of New York, Nick has photographed personalities such as Justin Bieber, Usher, and Jessica Alba. He has photographed print campaigns for international brands such as Nike, Coca Cola and Adidas and his work has been published in magazines such as Conde Nast Traveler, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire. On his podcast, he’s interviewed celebrities such as Usher, Scooter Braun, Donna Karan and others. He photographs for the charity, Pencils of Promise as he believes that education is the root problem solver of our world.

Project Coordinator
Part-Time, with potential to work remotely

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow, meet fascinating people, and go beyond their comfort zone. A love for personal development is essential.

Specifically, we are looking for someone to fill a hybrid role of Studio Coordinator x Executive assistant x Assistant Brand Manager. Yes this is usually a few roles, and we are expanding, but we need someone to lead this efforts as well and manage our interns and other employees towards our overall goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for design, be intuitively driven, self-aware and prepared to work at a swift pace whilst being strict about the brand guidelines and our expectations of quality/aesthetic.  A strategic implementer, they are able to take a big vision or company objective, break it down into actionable steps, and execute accordingly. Integrity is of high importance to this person, keeping their word, following through on commitments, and maintaining strong and open lines of communication.

With a passion for structure and process, they will support me in creating harmonious workflows that lead to life and business optimization.

Overarching Role:

+ Support Nick in making the nickonken brand an outstanding success, from the perspective of logistics, operations, coordination
+ Coordinating the nickonken brand office, including the photography side of the business
+ ProActive creativity in driving the culture, atmosphere and business
+ Support Nick in getting writing and message out there, to inspire and impact more people to experience creative resonance
+ Take over areas of business management (scheduling, project and task management, intern management), enabling Nick to focus more time on the creative process, photographing, meetings, and creative projects
+ Plan adventures and play time that lead to nourishing mind, body, soul and expanding creativity

Tasks Description

+Organize office physically & digitally
+Creating self checkpoints & goals
+Project, task and intern management
+Create office organization systems
+Track contacts with Nimble CRM
+Office Mailings
+Coordinating podcast interviews, contact, & research
+Troubleshoot office equipment malfunctions and coordinate technical services as needed
+Keep Nick & office on track
+Contact management & email outreach will be a big part
+Visual research/mood boards to be created
+Assist with brainstorming
+Ability to understand the vision of a project, ask the right informational questions, then move the project forward and provide the appropriate tasks
+Social media content creation/curation & planning
+Wordpress posting
+Calendar management
+Organize shoot schedule & everyone involved
+Task management & accountability
+Receipt organization (expenses) & possible invoicing
+Liaising with agent
+Create SOPs for office tasks
+Overseeing interns
